The front and side is lawn with various species of maple trees and traditional foundation shrubs in beds of hosta.  A stone wall connects the house to a garage providing privacy and protection of the swimming pool.  The rear garden is informal with groupings of tables and chairs and surrounded by a variety of shrubs and trees.
